This small painting in oil is of a life model in a studio in London Bridge that was commenced and completed in under an hour. I usually keep such paintings as preliminary or practice pieces (or even discard of them), however I liked the composition of this piece with the stark contrast of the dark red draping against the alabaster skin tone, and so decided to share it.
